Happy-House and sustainable
Naturally, at Happy-House we think the world in which we live together with our pets is important. That is why sustainability is an important aspect within our brand. Sustainability is a broad concept and covers all developments that contribute to a healthy earth with prosperous inhabitants and well-functioning ecosystems.
For example, we are in favor of valuing knowledge and craft in the country of origin and having the products made here. Our wicker products are a good example of this. These products consist of a 100% natural material and are woven by hand in Indonesia, where the craft originates. The wood in our collection is also certified and complies with all legislation to combat illegal logging and deforestation.
For our latest collection called The Real Sustainable Collection, we used recycled materials for both the fabric and soft fiber filling. This is to save new raw materials and keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. A globally renowned institute has certified our collections as Recycle and, in addition to reusing materials, also look at labor and environmental requirements. So we can say… the real Sustainable Collection!
Cardboard boxes are reused at Happy-House to prevent cardboard from being wasted. Packaging can sometimes look different because something else was originally packaged in it or is specially tailored but good news; this box has been used for a second time and thus recycled! The plastic bags we use for shipping are made from recycled plastic and are therefore in line with our sustainability policy.
Our parcel service stands for reduction in CO2 emissions and makes good progress here every year, you can also choose the greenest option from our delivery options when the package has been sent. In this way we jointly contribute to a better world!
The above examples are only part of our initiatives to keep our ecological footprint as limited as possible. We are constantly working on new initiatives regarding sustainability and will keep you informed on this page.
