Material Characteristics
The Happy-House design team choose their materials carefully. Each material has unique properties, below you can find the most important materials.
In our products we also use PU fabric, a so-called artificial leather. The real name of this factory leather is Poly Urethane, this is the fabric that with a special coating gets the look and feel of leather. Artificial leather (ECO leather) has become a fully-fledged substitute for leather in recent years, however, as with real leather, traces of use can occur, for example by your pet's nails.
We mainly use PU in our products (except for leather collars and lines). The main reason for this is that artificial leather is more animal-friendly, easy to maintain and that its production is much cleaner.
